Thousands came to Capitol Hill on Friday for the seventh annual Trans Pride. The event, organized by Gender Justice League, supports the Seattle-area trans and gender non-conforming community, with a march, a rally and access to community resources.

The event kicked off the final weekend of Seattle’s Pride Month, which featured dozens of events organized by a number of groups to support, celebrate and recognize Seattle’s LGBTQ community.

  1. As an elder Trans woman , I have long been envious of the Transgender happenings along the West Coast . I have spent the last Twenty eight years beating my head on walls in Virginia .It’s bad enough the trans people won’t support themselves . I’m so happy to be no looking for a retirement home in SW Oregon
