Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs (CAPAA) observes 45 years of service

The Washington State Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs (CAPAA) cordially invites the public to attend its Sapphire Anniversary Celebration, observing 45 years of service to the APA community statewide.

Diane Narasaki, who served as the executive director of Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) for over 24 years, will be honored with a lifetime achievement award.

Join us for a family-friendly, feel-good event for all our community members to come together and celebrate our beautiful diversity in solidarity!

Attendees are encouraged to wear BLUE in honor of Sapphire Anniversary — cultural attire is encouraged!

Themed after the Garden of Eden, this POC-owned & operated venue is a tropical haven in the midst of South Downtown Seattle featuring amazing, award-winning bathrooms! (Bathrooms are not gender-neutral.)

Parking is available in the lot behind the building, as well as on the street.

The venue is ADA accessible.
