The Seattle Globalist asks the 2018 candidates

In preparation of the 2018 special elections, we asked the candidates for U.S. Senator, U.S. Congress, Washington State Legislature and the contested Washington State Supreme Court race to answer three questions on topics of interest to Seattle Globalist readers.

We have published the ones we have received and will continue to publish additional ones if they are submitted.

The candidates received the following questions:

  • What are specific ways you have helped people of color and/or the immigrant community?
  • What is the biggest legislative priority for communities of color and the immigrant community in the next few years? Do you think there are legislative concerns that are unique to these communities?
  • What are specific ways that the office you seek would affect communities of color and the immigrant community, if you are elected?
