Tatyana Shtefyuk, immigrated from Kharkov, Ukraine to Portland, Oregon in 1998 when she was 22.
She said she was struck by the lack of lines, smiles from strangers and smooth roads. Shtefyuk now lives in Vancouver, Washington.
