With insurance costs surging, the repeal of Obamacare looming, and one in ten Americans already uninsured, a lot of us are struggling to access even the most basic care.
In October, thousands of health care volunteers came together to put on a giant free health clinic inside KeyArena. The Seattle/King County Clinic provided free medical, dental and vision care to almost five thousand people over four days.
A dozen comics journalists attended the Clinic and interviewed some of patients seeking treatment. We’re proud to be sharing a few of those stories here:
