“Our city needs diversity, so we need to keep Seattle affordable for everybody”

Vy Nguyen is a desk jockey in the non-profit sector where she gets to nerd out on policy affecting the lives of immigrants and refugees, work she finds incredibly rewarding as one of the first in her family of Vietnamese refugees to be born in the U.S.A native of the Seattle area, Vy loves living and working in a city where she can eat killer Vietnamese food but also get down to other cuisines that reflect Seattle's rich immigrant and refugee communities. Vy also comes from a family of Seahawks fans who loved the team longer than they could speak English. Her biggest dream in life is to someday be on Jeopardy (and win enough to pay off her student loans). GO HAWKS!
