Remember how we told you last month about Din Tai Fung’s plans for a third Seattle location at Pacific Place in downtown Seattle? Last week, Din Tai Fung announced a fourth Seattle location, at the Westfield Southcenter mall in Tukwila. According to the Puget Sound Business Journal and South Sound Magazine, the restaurant will open by December 2016.

Local franchise owner David Wasielewski opened his first branch at Lincoln Square in Bellevue in 2010, and followed that up with a University Village location. Both locations still attract hour-long waits for the xiao long bao and other good eats.

Ding Tai Fung has more than 100 locations worldwide, and the Bellevue location was the second location in the United States.

The reports say the Southcenter location will be 9,436-square feet, the largest local branch.
