Sarah Kuck and Saman Maydani

Sarah Kuck (right) is a filmmaker and journalist, with nearly a decade of multimedia storytelling and editing experience. Since earning her Master’s Degree in Media Studies at The New School in New York, she has helped to produce, shoot and edit several short and feature length films. Saman Maydani (left) is a filmmaker and creative educator. Her work explores oppression and power relationships through the personal narrative, with special focus on the voice and representation of women and people of color.
