Noah Friedman-Rudovsky

Noah Friedman-Rudovsky is a freelance photo and video journalist based in Bolivia where he has spent most of the past decade documenting the nation’s transformation. Noah covers stories across Latin America for a variety of outlets and is a frequent contributor to The New York Times. His photos appear in The New Yorker, Der Spiegel, Paris Match, Time Magazine, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, among others. Noah is currently working on 2 video projects documenting environmental issues in Bolivia with support from the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting and The Nation Investigative Fund.

Pollution, overfishing threaten livelihood of Peruvian fishermen

Marcelino Coila Choque is from a family of fishermen in Peru. From his small village along Lake Titicaca, he has watched the water turn opaque with pollution from the expanding city of Puno.  Radio journalist Sara Shahriari and Photojournalist Noah Friedman-Rudovsky follow Coila Choque on his morning fishing rounds in an audio slideshow.
