Melissa Lin is a Summer Intern at the Seattle Globalist. She studied journalism at Seattle University and has served as a staff writer, news editor, and most recently, Editor in Chief of its weekly student-run newspaper, The Spectator. She has written about racial justice, student movements, sexual assault, and other local issues. She loves taking in the breathtaking Pacific Northwest through hiking and camping, baking boozy desserts, and sharing incredible stories.
