Majd Baniodeh

Majd moved to Seattle from Palestine in 2005, in search of both educational and professional opportunities. While attaining her degree at Seattle University and upon graduating, Majd demonstrated a dedication to raising awareness about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and helped build workshops and planned events that foster love, tolerance and equality. Majd is currently a Program Manager at the University of Washington Bothell’s Center for University Studies and Programs. Majd aims to build a career in the international relations field and holds a Bachelor of Arts in international Studies and women’s studies. Ironically, she still thinks peace is possible.

Seattle stands up for justice in Gaza

As a Palestinian living in the U.S., and as a human watching yet another massacre occur within miles of my place of birth, I can’t help but feel paralyzed, powerless and most frustratingly, helpless.
