Katie is a home schooled student with a passion for travel and advocacy for social equality all around the world. Her homeschool curriculum created opportunities for her like hiking the Appalachian Trail with her family and studying art, literature, and architecture in Europe on an independent study. She loves baking, photography, and creative writing, chocolate, and the outdoors. She can usually be found in the kitchen, snuggling with her pets, or planning her next adventure.
