Jaya Duckworth

Jaya Duckworth is a sophomore at Garfield High School in Seattle. She has been lucky enough to live in London, Hong Kong, and Hawaii, and travel extensively around Europe and Asia. She currently lives with her mother and father in Seattle, and her sister is a freshman in college. She plays basketball and ultimate frisbee and is a member of the Garfield Orchestra and the National Honor Society. With a passion for social justice and equity, she has tutored at Seattle Music Partners and Team Read, working to give low income students opportunity in Music and English. She also enjoys camping and outdoor activities, live music, and Caribbean sandwiches.
