Gayne Ortega

Gayne Ortega is a visual anthropologist; her ethnographic and documentary research explores subjects of migration, identity and collective memory. Her recent research in collaboration with the Institute of Anthropological Research of the Autonomous University of Mexico was on the project Anthropology of the Desert: social organization, dances and rituals of indigenous groups of the Northwest of México.
