Cynthia Steele

Cynthia Steele is Professor of Comparative Literature and Adjunct Professor of Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies at the University of Washington in Seattle. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego and has published criticism and translations of modern Mexican literature and film. She regularly teaches courses on Latin American literature, film and human rights issues.
