Alyssa Patrick

Alyssa Patrick is a life-long learner and storyteller. These days many of her stories are about the role research universities play in maintaining healthy economies and communities, thanks to her job as a communication coordinator for Washington State University’s Office of Economic Development. A Yakima-native, Pullman graduate and Seattle resident, Alyssa really loves to nerd-out about the great state of Washington. She enjoys road trips across the state accompanied by This American Life, civic-nerding as a Crosscut Civic Ambassador, writing, mentoring, and exploring Puget Sound with friends.
