Bonus: Buzzer Gentrification Discussions
Buzzer is a play with race and gentrification as central themes. In what we hope is becoming standard practice, the team behind Buzzer is taking this opportunity to not just show but talk about race and gentrification. (Even without a theater background, we’re pretty sure that makes sense.) More discussion, please!

“Vietnamese New Year Celebration, with unique food (try the blood sausage if you dare!)” – This language reeks of the racist trope of “the exotic”.
